Have you walked to the USS Turner Joy and taken the tour? Have you walked on over to the Harborside Fountain Park? If you walk through you will end up at the amazing Naval Museum. If you walk north from the waterfront you can enjoy Evergreen Park which offers walking paths, picnic areas and a boat launch. Don't forget it is just a short and very scenic stroll across the Manette Bridge from Downtown Bremerton to the area called Manette which offers its own style.

I have walked these areas and yet I still always feel I am missing something. No longer will I have to walk around downtown Bremerton not knowing where I want to go or what there is to see. I printed out the 2008 Downtown Bremerton Walking Map off of the City of Bremerton website. I will be sending these in the relocation packages I send to new residents just moving to the area. This is awesome!
